Skincare first, then makeup

One of the most common mistakes that I see when it comes to makeup is the removal of makeup at the end of the day. What I usually hear is people say that they remove their makeup off at night with a cleanser, toner, and or moisturizer. And technically it's not wrong, but they are missing a step. The step is actually a second cleanse. Ideally you want to remove your makeup first with a makeup remover then wash it off. This would be considered your first cleanse, then you can take your cleanser and wash off the remaining makeup, dirt, and oil. This double cleansing results in squeaky clean skin and you will notice most, if not all of your makeup gone by the time you use toner. This also results is fewer breakouts, less texture, and less congestion in the skin. It makes a huge difference in the overall look of the skin. The cleaner your skin and pores, the better your makeup looks!
